Dried flower and botanicals are back!
I have been a fan of dried flowers forever, I love the idea of a bloom or leaf either hung or pressed becoming a lasting treasure of a special moment in time. So it is with joy that I see the returned trend of love & appreciation for dried flowers. I say returned as I clearly remember my first retail flower shop having a whole section dedicated to ‘drieds’ & my 6 week dried flower classes with a long waiting list!
So due to popular demand I’m offering 4-week design classes, purely focused on the beauty of dried flowers & design held in my Ivy Glasshouse. Along with the designs below, that will be yours to take home, you will also learn drying techniques, an extensive list of flowers that dry well and how to prepare and care for your flowers and designs.
As part of my strong ethos on sustainable & eco floristry i only use naturally dried materials, either by me or the grower so you wont find any preserved, dyed, or chemically bleached & treated flowers in my studio.
Designs and techniques you will learn:
- Unique Forevers Cloche
- Hand tied wallspray
- Delicate flower crown
- Floral Glass bauble
- Random weave seasonal Wreath

Today we stand in footsteps millennia old. May we acknowledge the traditional owners whose cultures and customs have nurtured, and continue to nurture, this land, since men and women awoke from the great dream. We honour the presence of these ancestors who reside in the imagination of this landand whose irrepressible spirituality flows through all creation.
Wild Flora Studio pays respect to the Dharawal, Gundangurra and Darug Nations on whose land we live and work.
