HOSTED AND LED BY:
Ruth Pirie – The guardian & Lead Yoga and Pilates Teacher and Sound Healer at My Yoga Space in Wollondilly
Ruth came to Yoga as she journeyed through Post-natal Depression and grief in her first years of motherhood. Yoga, mindfulness, meditation and breath-work soon became her baseline and anchor. Ruth holds space for others to step into a deeper self-inquiry of their body and soul’s wisdom, whilst guiding them through nourishing conscious movement, breath work and meditation practices. Her teaching is non-judgmental, restorative and inviting.
Her journey has led her to sound and vibrational healing, exploring her innate wisdom and gifts which she shares joyfully with others to pave way for healing, openness and receptivity. Ruth channels sound consciously to help others find stillness and deep-rooted relaxation; guiding them to access their own soul’s expression and return to wholeness.
Nadine Brown – the creative force and founder of Wild Flora Studio.
Nadine finds joy in sharing her love of the language of flowers, helping others translate their flower selection to be with intention in a way that speaks to their heart and soul. She has 30 years of experience in the floral industry as a retail business owner, wedding socialist, home based studio owner and qualified teacher, and she is a self-confessed eco-recycling Gaia lover! She loves to share her knowledge and skills whilst bringing people together in warm, open hearted connection.

The retreat is held at the home of Wild Flora Studio in Lakesland…Nadine is looking forward to sharing their much loved private property where they have lived, nurtured and renovated for the last 17 years. She lives here with her husband, 2 children, father and a gathering of animals. A recent renovation project of transforming an old shed has seen Nadine now spending many blissful hours working and teaching all things floristry in her own ivy glasshouse studio. The property is boarded by a natural fern filled creek, a mixture of open paddocks and bushland, pond, dam and lake leading up to a rugged and beautiful rock escarpment. Nadine grows many foliage and flowers for her work along with chickens and veggie gardens for the family. They pride themselves on caring for this land in a respectful and nurturing way with a clear consideration of nature and the environment.
“…The thankfulness is in my heart, the creativity is in my soul and the confidence is in my head and it’s all because the queen of the flower fairies Nadine tucked me under her wing and taught me pretty much all I know! The love is big! Looking forward to continuing this journey with her.” Libby Shwartz
“….Nadine’s passion for nature is so inspiring, her unique and ever growing success has never stopped her from constantly supporting me even for years after being her student and i still feel comfortable referring back to her for anything floral related. I’m forever grateful for everything she has taught me and wouldn’t be where i am as a florist and business owner without her.” Maryam – Just my Pretty
“Thank you Ruth for creating an amazing place so that I can find my inner space, physically, mentally, emotionally & spiritually rejuvenating! Your guidance was beautiful!” Tammy B
“I simply can not express the benefits I mentally and physically have gained from attending. With each visit, I find skills to place into my everyday life. From posture to breath and a clear mind. These skills I will carry with me for life. Ruth is both supportive and helpful, while providing the best for each individual attending. Thank you for bringing My Yoga Space to Thirlmere and allowing each of us an understanding of our own Spiritual Awareness.” Kellyanne Coman
