Botanical Remedies for the Mind, Body & Soul

Saturday 4th September

Connecting with the rhythm of nature from the inside out.

Join me and the lovely Anthia – Apotheca by Anthia for a nourishing morning of learning the healing & therapeutic effects of connecting to the rhythm of nature from the inside out.

In this 4 hour workshop, Anthia will share her extensive knowledge & passion as a herbalist & naturopath as she guides us through Nadine’s herb garden to forage, identifying the health benefits of these commonly grown herbs & plants.  She will share the processes & health benefits as we create our own tea blend & organic plant-based hand salt scrub to take home & enjoy. Easy to learn botanical remedies you can re-create at home for you & your family, taking care of your inner nature.

I will then share my extensive knowledge and passion for earth-focused & seasonal floral design. During a mindful practice of creative meditation [definitely not the silent kind], you will create your own edible wreath that will be not only beautiful but nourishes your body & soul. Made from herbs, flowers, fruits, and plants your design can be hung in your kitchen for you to not only enjoy visually but for easy access to pick from & add to your daily cooking or teapot. Your botanical base can then be easily re-created to use time & again.

Your morning will also include a luxurious brunch picnic in the garden by the pond & tea ceremony all just 1 hour from Sydney, 30 min Wollongong in the Southern Highlands.

Today we stand in footsteps millennia old. May we acknowledge the traditional owners whose cultures and customs have nurtured, and continue to nurture, this land, since men and women awoke from the great dream.  We honour the presence of these ancestors who reside in the imagination of this landand whose irrepressible spirituality flows through all creation.

Wild Flora Studio pays respect to the Dharawal, Gundangurra and Darug Nations on whose land we live and work.
